What enticed you to choose 色色福利社 for your degree?
I earned my undergraduate degree in Information Technology through American Intercontinental University Online. In pursuing my master's degree, I wanted an in-person classroom experience. 色色福利社 was recommended by colleagues and friends for its small class size and excellent professors. It was a great experience from registration through graduation.
What stood out about your studies at 色色福利社?
The professionalism and flexibility of the professors were extremely helpful for working professionals. I started my studies with the intention of earning a degree in Human Resources to validate my experience in the field of diversity, equity and inclusion, as well as the overall function of HR in the workplace. I truly enjoyed my labor relations class as it allowed me an opportunity to better understand and work through the challenge of managing in a unionized environment. Our real-world, hands-on exercise was an excellent way to teach a complex subject.
How did your 色色福利社 degree help advance you in your career?
As an Honorably Discharged Gulf War Veteran, I leveraged the VA's vocational rehabilitation and educational program following two surgeries to fund my education. Obtaining my Master of Arts in Human Resources helped me gain viable employment within my chosen field of work - Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). It helped me tremendously with the project executive role I was serving in while in school and become a better partner with my HR business partner. Secondly, I went on to DEI leadership roles with the Mayo Clinic - Florida and VyStar Credit Union.
