of the a foreign language, the Graduate Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign
Language (TEFL) guides students in becoming the educators who make a difference.
Graduate students in the TEFL certificate program learn about second language acquisition,
curriculum development and language cultures. With a selection of elective courses,
they also have the opportunity to study language history and linguistics.
