ɫɫ¸£ÀûÉç’s Master of Music in Performance with an Emphasis in Voice offers
an intensive curriculum in solo and ensemble experience, allowing vocal performers
to gain experience in a variety of vocal groups and styles.
Students will work with experienced faculty to create a personalized plan for their
individual goals, including private studio teaching, public performance as soloists
or ensemble members and composing.
Our curriculum is designed to provide students an opportunity to gain focused and
purposeful experience performing music. Faculty will work with students to understand
their goals and interests, and facilitate a deeper understanding of theoretical, historical
and aesthetic frameworks of music across various styles, genres and cultures. Upon
completion of the program, students will be able to apply their technical and theoretical
knowledge to their study, interpretation and performance.

When you study as a graduate student in the Department of Music, you’ll have access
to merit-based scholarships, such as the Buder Foundation Scholarship, which is available
to graduate students after their first year. For more information, interested applicants
