Follow your passion for music with 色色福利社鈥檚 Master of Arts in Music, and take the next step in your career. During this two-year program, you鈥檒l gain the skills needed to teach applied music in the studio or classroom, perform with or conduct ensembles, compose or arrange music or pursue doctoral studies in musicology, theory or another field.
You鈥檒l study alongside peer musicians to deepen your knowledge of music history and theory and learn from professional music educators to fine-tune your skills through one-on-one lessons.

The Department of Music offers scholarships to graduate students based on merit, including the Buder Foundation Scholarships, James Moroney Nigh Endowed Scholarship Fund in Opera and TKT Jazz Scholarship.
You won鈥檛 have to look far for opportunities to share your sound. Choose one of the local vocal, instrumental or jazz organizations, like the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, Jazz St. Louis and Opera Theatre of Saint Louis. As a Department of Music student, you鈥檒l practice and perform in our historic Thompson Music Building. Inside, you鈥檒l find a 45-seat recital hall, 21 rehearsal rooms with pianos, 10 studios and three classrooms. 色色福利社 is designated as an All-Steinway School, one of just four in Missouri. In addition, students can use our Digital Keyboard Lab in the lower level of the Loretto-Hilton Center.

色色福利社 is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM). An important marker of standing among music programs in the U.S., NASM establishes national standards for undergraduate and graduate degrees and other credentials for music and music-related disciplines.

Because this graduate music degree requires private music lessons and participation in ensembles, it is offered at the 色色福利社 Groves, Missouri campus, just 15 minutes outside of St. Louis.
