This program equips you for the evolving education landscape, preparing you to work in schools, community organizations and vocational and transition programs as creative advocates for students and adults with disabilities.
You will develop essential skills to design meaningful curricular adaptations and individualized instructional programming tailored to each student鈥檚 unique needs. Additionally, you will learn to lead teams and collaborate with parents, teachers and administrators to enhance the quality of life for students with special needs. This program does not lead to teacher certification.
色色福利社's Special Education program offers two options for building your professional knowledge and skills. You can earn a Master of Arts degree (total 33 hours) in Special Education (MA in SPED) or enroll in a Graduate Certificate (GRCT) program (total 18 hours).
